Outer Signalは、トランス大国イスラエル出身のGil StolarことJulと、Lior YoshaことJoshによる今年最も注目すべきユニットである。二人はそれぞれトランス以外の音楽のバックグラウンドを持ち、ドラムやパーカッション、かたや、ギターやキーボード等を演奏してき、90年代の後半頃からエレクトリックミュージックを製作し始めた。Gilはダブやアンビエント、Liorはエクスペリメンタルテクノという風に、全く異なった音楽を作ってきた。
2002年頃には、イスラエルやタイ、インド等のトランスパーティーでDJをし始め、そして2004年になり、ようやくOuter Signalという名のもと活動を開始しました。 そこから約二年の月日が経ち、イスラエル中でDJをし尽くした後に、彼らの独自のスタイルとサウンドを確立した。そのスタイルは、浮遊感のあるスペイシーな空間音と、パワフルなシンセ音により、フロアをサイケデリックなカオスに導く唯一無比のヴァイブを生み出す、オリジナリティー溢れる楽曲である。
そして、遂にファーストトラック「Groove Control」が3d Visionのコンピレーションに収録され、またYABAI RECORDSの3rdコンピレーション「SAMURAI」や「MANGA」、Timecode、Materia等、数々のコンピレーションに収録され、人気のさまが窺える。現在は、今年発売のファーストアルバムのリリースに向けスタジオでの楽曲製作に明け暮れ、今回の来日で輝かしい新曲たちの初お披露目になるであろう。

Outer Signal is a new project from Israel.featuring Gil Stolar a.k.a Jul and Lior "Josh" Yosha.Both coming from a musical background, playing diffrent instruments: drums, percussion, guitars and keyboard.
